Missing American Citizen, Christine Feld-Boskoff

Internationally famous American mountain climber Ms. Christine Feld-Boskoff (age 39) was last heard from in early November in Litang, Sichuan Province.  Ms. Feld-Boskoff is from the Seattle, Washington and Norwood, Colorado areas.  It is believed she was climbing Genyen peak in western Sichuan together with her climbing partner, Mr. Charles Fowler.  Mr. Fowler’s body was discovered at an altitude of 17,000 feet near Genyen peak on December 27, 2006.  Ms. Feld-Boskoff has not yet been found.  The search has been temporarily suspended due to inclement weather.  Anyone with information concerning Ms. Feld-Boskoff is encouraged to contact local authorities, the U.S. Consulate General, Chengdu at 028-8558-3992, or the U.S. Embassy in Beijing at 010-6532-3431.
