AMBASSADOR BOSWORTH: Good evening.  As I think everyone is aware, we are here on the first stop in our series of visits to our partners in the Six-Party process.  I had very good meetings this afternoon with Foreign Minister Yang and Vice Foreign Minister Wu.  We had extensive discussion of where we are and talked about the way forward.

The United States reiterates its desire to engage both multilaterally and bilaterally with North Korea, and we believe very strongly that the solution to the tensions and problems of the area now lies in dialogue and negotiation.

Thank you all very much.  We are going on tomorrow to Seoul and then to Tokyo.
