The U.S. Embassy in Beijing’s Olympic Coordination Office (OCO) serves as the U.S. Government lead in China for all Olympic-related security and safety, policy, public diplomacy, host country and international community liaison, commercial matters, administrative support, and all other issues relating to the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the U.S. Government’s support of these Games.
