U.S. Performers in China

Amateur Performers

There is widespread interest in China in learning more about the arts and culture of the United States, and people-to-people exchanges go far towards building understanding between the U.S. and China. Amateur performances are not subject to the same level of administrative regulation as professional tours. Often, host institutions can make arrangements for a simple performance on a campus or in a local concert hall. For tours requiring more organizational capacity, cultural groups may wish to contact the following organizations, which can arrange amateur performances:

Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries
(Affiliated to Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
