HOW TO APPLY FOR A VISA

Please follow the following steps when applying for a non-immigrant visa at the US Embassy Beijing:   

• Make an Appointment for the Interview & Appointment Wait Times

• Group Appointments

• Pay the Application Fee

• Prepare an Appropriate Photo

• Fill in the Online Visa Application Form (DS-160)

• Gather the Required Documents

• Appear for the Interview

• Arrange for Visa/Passport Return through China Post

If you are renewing your visa, or are under 14, or 80 years old or older, you may be able to use the CITIC Bank Drop-off Service to apply for a visa and you may not need to come to the Embassy for a visa interview. Please click on the following link for detailed instructions.
