RELO Grants Guidelines

The Regional English Language Office in Beijing provides funds for various programs and projects related to English language professional development.  Our office will consider cost-sharing requests for programs and activities such as organizing local conferences and seminars, conducting research projects in the TEFL or related fields, and providing travel grants to English language professionals who are presenting at regional and international conferences.

The RELO gives preferences to grants that:

·         Are well presented according to the guidelines given 

·         Will have a legacy that will support the development of English teaching in the country

·         Show expected results that will affect a wider audience other than the participant(s) –(e.g. will be shared with colleagues, students, and the larger community) 

·         Show a high level of cost-sharing 

·         Are unique, creative, or show excellent rationale for funding 

RELO does not fund any proposal 100%
